Character Questions [Mar. 29th, 2010|08:14 pm]
Childhood Questions

1. What is your first memory? I remember my mother tucking me into bed for my nap when I was a very little kid.
2. What was your favorite toy? A firetruck
3. What was your favorite game? Hide and go seek
4. Any non-family member adults stick out in your mind? Who were they, and how did you know them? Why do they stick out? I mostly stuck to my family when I was a little kid. My uncle Roy was more of a father to me than my actual dad was.
5. Who was your best friend when you were growing up? As sad as this sounds, my big sister Jeanine.
6. What is your fondest, childhood memory? Playing around with my siblings.
7. What is your worst childhood memory? Probably a tie between my little brother and sister dying of the flu and our house being seized by the bank and watching my father joke with the collectors like a jackass.

Adolescent Questions

1. How old were you when you went on your first date? 15
2. It is common for one's view of authority to develop in their adolescent years. What is your view of authority, and what event most affected it? I chafe under authority, for the most part. My mother wasn't around long enough to really be an authority figure to me, and my dad was kind of a loser who gambled his family's money away, so I couldn't respect him. I mainly just think that, if you want authority over me, you've got to earn it.
3. What were you like in high school? What "clique" did you best fit in with? Jocks technically, because I was a football player, but my school was small enough that we all kind of hung out together. I was a trouble maker in school. I used to steal cop cars and paint water towers, but I got away with it b/c I was a football player.
4. What were your high school goals? Not much, really. I didn't decide to become a lawyer until college.
5. Who was your idol when you were growing up? Who did you first fantasize about in your life? My idol growing up was my Uncle Roy, who stepped in and took care of us after his sister (our mom) died and my dad ran off. I fantasized about Madonna. Then again, who didn't?
6. What is your favorite memory from adolescence? Probably stealing that cop car. I even took his hat.
7. What is your worst memory from adolescence? My mother dying when I was fourteen.

Character Questions for BTVSAL [Mar. 29th, 2010|06:42 pm]
1. Is an ounce of prevention really worth a pound of cure? Which is more valuable? Why do you feel this way? I don't know. I try to prevent stuff, but it rarely works. Guess I'm more of a 'pound of cure' sort of person.
2. What's the worst thing that can be done to another person? Why? You know, name it, and I've probably been a part of it. I've got a personal soft spot for kids, though. I'd rather not mess with them, so that's the worst, I guess.
3. What's the worst thing you could actually do to someone you hated? Well, I've actively tried to kill a few people, so take that for what you will.
4. Are you a better leader or follower? Why do you think that? If you think the whole leader-follower archetype is a crock of shit, say so, and explain why? I was once told that I could be a leader at the firm. So, I'm guessing a leader, even though I so have to follow orders a lot around here.
5. What is your responsibility to the world, if any? Why do you think that? To rule it obviously.
6. Do you think redemption is possible? If so, can anyone be redeemed, or are there only certain circumstances that can be? If not, why do you think nothing can redeem itself? I'm not much for redemption. It's pointless. Pick a side and stick with it. **
7. Is it okay for you to cry? When was the last time you cried? I'm not much for crying. I think I last cried when my little brother died of the flu.
8. What do you think is wrong with MOST people, overall? I think most people look at ME for what's wrong with people, not the other way around.

**(OOC:  Considering how he is on the show, I find this personally hilarious, but this seems to be the route he's going in THIS particular game)

Morality Questions for BTVSAL [Mar. 27th, 2010|04:03 pm]
1. What one act in your past are you most ashamed of? What one act in your past are you most proud of? I can't be ashamed of anything. That's not the line of work that I'm in. What I'm proud of, though, is getting the ability to walk again, and doing it on my own.
2. Have you ever been in an argument before? Over what, with who, and who won? Been in plenty of them, due to the fact that I'm a lawyer. I tend to win them for the same reason.
3. Have you ever been in a physical fight before? Over what, with who, and who won? Well, I was in a magical fight that I wasn't doing too badly in until the fucker knocked me off a cliff. Then some asshole came up behind me and broke my neck. Come at me from the front next time and see how well that works.
4. What do you feel most strongly about? That you can't look back or go home again. You've got to keep moving forward.
5. What do you pretend to feel strongly about, just to impress people? I don't know. Morality?
6. What trait do you find most admirable, and how often do you find it? Strength. Not physical, although that's nice to have, but mental. In my line of work, you either puss out, go insane, or stick it through. I'm seeing this through.
7. Is there anything you think should not be incorporated into the media or art (sex, violence, greed, etc.,)? If so, what and why, and if not, why not? Depends on who's asking. Truthfully, I don't really give a damn, but, if there's a camera on me, I'm railing against the idea of immorality on television.
8. Do you have any feelings in general that you are disturbed by? What are they? Why do they disturb you? Occasionally the fact that I really don't care for the welfare of most of the rest of the world kind of bothers me. Shouldn't I care about that?
9. What is your religious view of things? What religion, if any, do you call your own? It's hard to believe in something like a benevolent god when you sign your soul away for success.
10. Do you think the future is hopeful? Why? My star is only going up, so sure, it's hopeful.

Character Questions [Sep. 28th, 2009|07:44 pm]
1. What is your real, birth name? What name do you use? Any nicknames? If so, where did you get it? Lindsey Andrew McDonald. I've been called a 'Tiny Texan' by a few people who want to piss my off. I'm from Oklahoma, damnit!
2. How do you dress most of the time? In a suit and tie. Well, up until less than a month ago, anyway. It was a job requirement. Now I'm in pajamas, most of the time.
3. How do you "dress up" and "dress down?" I actually own a tux, but now it's all pajamas and loose stuff. So it's not even a matter of dressing up or down. During normal circumstances, I tend to wear jeans and shirts when I dress 'down.'
4. What do you wear when you go to sleep? Pajama bottoms.
5. Do you wear any jewelry? My mother was from New Orleans, so I wear a fleur-de-lis bracelet to remember her by.
6. In your opinion, what is your best feature? I've been told that I have great eyes.
7. What's your real birth date? November 28th.
8. Where do you live? Describe it: Is it messy, neat, avant-garde, sparse, etc An expensive but completely personality devoid apartment. It's spartan, I guess.
9. Do you own a car? Describe it. Well, I have some expensive car that I think is a Porche. I don't know. The firm made me buy it for appearances. My baby is my truck, though, which Lilah once referred to as a rust bucket only held together by rust.
10. What is your most prized mundane possession? Why do you value it so much? Probably my truck or my guitar. Damn, I just sound like a fucking cliche.
11. What one word best describes you? Cowboy.
